AG Eric Holder is guilty of profiling.
Last week at a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Department of Justice oversight. Eric Holder testified. Ted Poe, Republican from Texas asked Holder “Have you read the Arizona immigration law?”
Holder’s reply, “I have not had a chance to. I’ve glanced at it. I’ve not read it.”
Holder also made the observation, “The concern I have about the law that they have passed is that I think it has the possibility of leading to, uh, racial profiling and putting a wedge between law enforcement in the community that would, in fact, be profiled. People in that community are less likely then to cooperate with people in law enforcement, less likely to share information, less likely to be witnesses in cases that law enforcement is trying to solve.”
Keeping in mind that Holder has not read the law yet, so his observation is based on his profiling of Republicans. Shouldn’t the Attorney General of the United States be impartial? How is Holder allowed to profile Republicans and get away with it? Then again, his Boss, President Obama was reaching out to blacks, Hispanics and women the other week, and completely ignored white males. What happened to the guy who was elected for being a uniter?
Anyway, AG Holder uses profiling to attribute characteristics to the Arizona illegal immigration law and doesn’t bother to get the facts about what the law actually says. I wonder what he will do when he learns that the Arizona law mirrors federal law? Will Holder end the federal laws on immigration or will he just continue to ignore the laws and profile more Republican leaders who are doing the work the federal leaders refuse to do?
