America The Beautiful.

America The Beautiful Words by Katharine Lee Bates

O beautiful for spacious skies,

For amber waves of grain,

For purple mountain majesties About the fruited plain!

America! America! God shed His grace on thee

And crown thy good with brotherhood From sea to shining sea!

O beautiful for patriot dream

That sees beyond the years

Thine alabaster cities gleam

Undimmed by human tears!

America! America! God shed His grace on thee

And crown thy good with brotherhood From sea to shining sea!

I think of this song everytime I go on vacation. Whether it’s the ocean, the mountains, the Forest and it’s babbling brook, the majestic waterfalls or buffalo roaming the plains, our country truly is BEAUTIFUL from sea to shining sea!!

And yes, pb, this background problem is only showing up at work. Instead of a white background, I’m getting the blue, clevelandfoxers design showing up behind the writing. Weird, huh?

      What browser/operating system is it?

I’ve tried it in Firefox, Safari and IE8 on Vista and I don’t get that problem.

You’re asking the most computer illiterate person in the world this question?! Ha! All I know is that my computer at work is Windows XP.
